Waves of Grief Collective
Healing from Loss: Monthly Drop-ins
The losses we have incurred during the pandemic are unimaginable. The histories of loss we incurred are still present and layered and woven within the community. Our mission is to provide a holding space in communities that require emotional and physical safety, and empathic connection. Our facilitators, while holding space for our community, are also sharing their grief and participate with the community. There is no hierarchy on grief and loss, no assumption of knowing why or how, and the creative connections that grow from this alignment are aimed to provide us deeper insight into who we are and how we are.
Join us on the second Sunday of each month from 9:30am-11:30am on sand and in the sea as we navigate the Waves of Loss together, building connection and community. Bring your own gear to enjoy Mother Ocean how you feel best: Swim, Surf, Boogie/Body Board, Stretch, Stroll in stoke alongside the waves.
All ocean experiences welcome. This is a free year-round Ocean + Surf Therapy program that allows for flow and meaningful connection supported by the ocean and hosted by our global Waves of Grief collective.
Register now January 14, 2024 and Second Sunday mornings each month, this month at Solimar Beach, Ventura County. Facilitated by our team. For more locations please visit here to join the Waves of Grief Collective.
