STOKE CREW LEADERSHIP TEAM

WELCOME TO OUR STOKE CREW! We are a year-round leadership program promoting social, emotional and physical wellness for our children in leadership. As a Stoke Crew Leadership member, students are mentored and guided towards growing their voices, empowering others, and advocating for Earth’s health through action and accountability.

Do you have to surf to be a part of the Leadership Team? Ofcourse not, that would be exclusive and we acknowledge more than just surf skills (that’s amazing if you have been gifted the experience of surf already!); our leaders have a willingness to learn leadership skills, grow their creativity through partnership, and have BIG HEARTS and BIG DREAMS. They may even have their BIG CONCERNS that activate them into social justice, or questions about their future potential.

Who are the mentors? Our mentors include our volunteer SOUL SURF Support staff, graduate psychology interns who love children and want to empower their voices through their creative and empathic regard.

How do I apply? Just click here to set up an interview with our Stoke Crew interviewer so we can get to know your goals and passions, and align with how we can help you discover who you are becoming together.

What happens after that? You will be partnered with one of our Stoke Crew Leadership mentors and set up virtual and in-person (if applicable or possible) sessions to immerse in the Ocean’s gifts of healing and potential.

What are other offerings that may come our way? We are a small agency with big dreams. We dream together, inspire and aspire together, and come up with various ways to grow a diverse lens in life.

Are parents involved? Ofcourse! They are your ultimate mentors, and if you want us to feedback to them we would love to. If you want privacy, we respect that too. We just ask that we come up with the plan together and parents/caregivers/guardians must consent in order for us to work with you.
